How to prevent sleeve shaped parts deforming during cnc turning
1) separate the rough and finish machining to reduce the impact of cutting force and cutting heat,so the finish machining will correct the deformation generated during rough machining.
2) reduce the impact of clamping force on the machining process,taking the following measures to reduce the impact of the clamping force during cnc turning process:
① When radial clamping, the clamping force should not concentrate on a radial cross-section of the workpiece, but it should be distributed over a larger area, to reduce the pressure on unit area on the workpiece. As the workpiece can be mounted in an opening in the ring of an appropriate thickness, in conjunction with this ring clamped together. It can also be used to increase the contact area of special jaws. When the hole location, should adopt the open-type clamping mandrel.
② clamping position should choose more rigid area on the part,in order to improve the deformation of thin-walled parts under clamping force.
③ changing the direction of the clamping force,change the radial clamping to axial clamping.
④to make rigid aera or threads on the workpiece to reduce clamping deformation, use the special clamping jaws,cut the holding aera in the end.
